The Sonic Kaleidoscope is an intuitive interactive audiovisual device. It works basically like a traditional kaleidoscope but has sensors that detect light, an Arduino which interprets them into sounds and a audio outlet to listen.
The interface is just a tube paper towels, a third of a Pringles can, plastic mirror and translucent colored plastic. The circuit consists of an Arduino, to which are connected three photo sensors, an audio outlet and a battery for mobility. The code is a mashup of three basic codes for the Arduino tone function written by Tom Igoe Melody, Pitch follower and Keyboard.
